The purpose of this project was to design a window, as well as a hanging pendant, for ABC Carpet & Home. The theme for the window is spring. Spring is beautiful when the flowers start to bloom and the birds start to sing, but things like that wouldn’t even be possible if it weren’t for the rain that comes to water the earth. The window design was inspired by the fact that many storms occur in the spring. The inspiration of the decorative pendant luminaire follows that, consisting of rain, droplets, and of course, umbrellas. It is a rotatable Halogen lamp, as they allow for better dimming control, with a CRI of 100 and a CCT of 2800K-3000K.
